The Denver Chapter Payroll Association (DCPA) is a non-profit organization consisting of dedicated payroll professionals throughout the Denver metro area.
The Chapter offers bi-annual study groups that are a great way to prepare for taking either the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or the Fundamental of Payroll Compliance (FPC) certification exam.
In addition, the Chapter hosts a yearly Rocky Mountain Regional Payroll Conference. This is a multi-state conference with topics on payroll basics, advanced payroll, payroll reporting, personal and professional development, as well as updates from various government agencies.
The Chapter promotes Money Matters Economic Education by visiting local high schools to explain to students their paychecks and their rights as an employees. In addition, the chapter participates quarterly on the Paycheck Line 9, which can be seen on KUSA, Channel 9.
The Chapter actively supports several charities in the Denver Metropolitan Area including Paycheck Line 9, 9Health Fair, Barnum Elementary, CHUN's People's Fair, The Gathering Place, Food Bank of the Rockies, and the Furry Scurry. We are always looking for suggestions for other activities that we can support. There are always opportunities for both professional and personal growth through the Chapter and its activities.
