All DCPA Memberships are for the current calendar year. DCPA allows a grace period of the first three months of each year to renew memberships.
Your 2009 DCPA Membership expired on March 31, 2010. If you did not renew your membership before April 1, 2010 you will need to contact Cyndy Davidson, CPP to have your website access for the Members Only page reset in order to now renew your membership.
If you did not receive the April Meeting reminder or the April DCPA Newsletter and had renewed your DCPA membership before March 31, 2010, please contact dcpanews@denverapa.org. A DCPA representative will contact you regarding your notification.
Benefits of Membership
Here are just a few of the benefits of becoming a member in the Denver Chapter Payroll Association:
A monthly Chapter newsletter that announces upcoming speakers and events, as well as providing you information on local and national payroll updates.
Monthly Chapter meetings are an excellent source of information and exchange between payroll professionals. We provide educational seminars and special programs on timely topics such as Workplace Violence Prevention, Generational Differences in Leadership, and How to Prevent Internal Fraud and Identity Theft.
Advance your career as a payroll professional. DCPA offers you the opportunity to join a study group that will prepare you for taking either the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamentals of Payroll Compliance (FPC) exam from the American Payroll Association. These study groups meet weekly and are led exclusively by qualified CPPs. Click here for information on the Current CPP/FPC Study Groups.
Yearly the DCPA hosts the Rocky Mountain Regional Payroll Conference. This is a multi-state conference with topics on payroll basics, advanced payroll, payroll reporting, personal and professional development, as well as updates from various government agencies.
Scholarships are awarded to members for the American Payroll Association's Annual Congress, the Rocky Mountain Regional Payroll Conference, local Chapter Meetings, as well as to local classes offered by the American Payroll Association (APA).
